On Monday, March 11^th, the President of the HSC, Prof. Ioannis Daglis, gave a talk during an event of the Association of Athenians, dedicated to the memory of Mr. Dionysis Simopoulos, Director of the Eugenides Planetarium from 1973 to 2014. Talks were also given by the President of the Academy of Athens, Mr. Stamatis Krimizis, the Professor Emeritus of the UOA, Mr Hamik Maroukian, and the journalist Ms. Eva Nikolaidou, who presented her book “Dionysis Simopoulos, in the way his friends remember him”. The event was coordinated by the educator, Ms. Soso Giouleka.
