The development of a strategic proposal for the space sector and the creation of a dynamic, rolling action plan for Greece’s space strategy in collaboration with the academic and research communities, as well as the public and private sectors. This plan outlines goals, areas of cooperation, and processes to achieve these goals. It focuses on cooperation, coordination, support, and the mobilization of public and private sector organizations, services, and legal entities to promote, disseminate, and leverage Greece’s space strategy. The strategy also includes participation in European and International organizations and groups active in space-related matters and programs.
Furthermore, it promotes and involves the coordination of public bodies in space-related projects and programs, as well as managing national space programs and projects across various sectors such as scientific research, technology, telecommunications, security, economy, environment, agricultural development, transportation, e-governance, and trade.
Drafting of the national space strategy in collaboration with the Ministry of Digital Governance
Support of the Greek delegation to the European Space Agency (ESA), including staffing of ESA committees with specialized personnel
Joint development with the government of Greece’s participation in ESA (mandatory & optional programs)
Support of the Greek government (and Ministry) on matters of space policy
Provision of technological consulting and solutions to the government and other public entities on applications of space technology
Assistance in the design and implementation of the National Microsatellite Program
Participation in international workshops and conferences under intergovernmental agreements in the Space Sector, in collaboration with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs – Alpha Mission Delos
