A big step forward for the Space Sector in Greece, and in particular for Satellite Earh Observation: The application of HCS to become an Associate Member of the Committee on Earth Observation Satellites (CEOS) was unanimously accepted from all members on the 5th of November 2025, during the 39th CEOS Plenary Meeting, that took place in Bath, UK.
A supporting -to the application- presentation on Earth Observation activities of HCS, was provided by HSC’s Scientific Officer Dr Christina Karakizi, and it was warmly received.
HSC’s Scientific Officer Dimitris Bliziotis MSc., MEng. was nominated as CEOS Principal Representative for Greece.
