Summer School Alpbach

The Summer School Alpbach is an annual European summer school dedicated to research and education in the field of space science and technology. Each summer, 60 selected students and young researchers from the member states of the European Space Agency (ESA) gather in the village of Alpbach in Austria for ten days of intensive training and collaboration. Under the guidance of experts from ESA, DLR, CNES, ASI, and other leading institutions, participants design and present proposals for real space missions.

The Hellenic Space Center (HSC) is Greece’s national representative at the Summer School Alpbach and each year has the pleasure of nominating and supporting two students from Greek universities to participate in this unique European experience. Through their participation, students gain valuable practical knowledge, international collaborations, and inspiration for their future careers in the space sector.
