United Nations – Committee on the Peaceful Uses of Outer Space (COPUOS)
The Hellenic Space Center, together with and under the coordination of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, represents Greece to the Scientific and Technical Subcommittee (STSC) of the Committee on the Peaceful Uses of Outer Space (COPUOS) of the United Nations.
The Committee on the Peaceful Uses of Outer Space (COPUOS) was set up by the General Assembly in 1959 to govern the exploration and use of space for the benefit of all humanity: for peace, security and development. The Committee was tasked with reviewing international cooperation in peaceful uses of outer space, studying space-related activities that could be undertaken by the United Nations, encouraging space research programmes, and studying legal problems arising from the exploration of outer space.

The Hellenic Space Center is a member of the International Astronautical Federation (IAF) since 2022.

Committee on Earth Observation Satellites (CEOS)
The Hellenic Space Center is a member of the Committee on Earth Observation Satellites since 2025.
CEOS was established in September, 1984 in response to a recommendation from a Panel of Experts on Remote Sensing from Space and set up under the aegis of the G7 Economic Summit of Industrial Nations Working Group on Growth, Technology, and Employment. This Panel recognized the multidisciplinary nature of space-based Earth observations and the value of coordinating international Earth observation efforts to benefit society.
