On Friday, November 24^th, at 18:00, the President of the HSC, Prof. Ioannis Daglis, gave a lecture on “Auroras in Greece!”, the first of this academic year’s public talk series organized by the Gerostathopouleio Observatory of the University of Athens. After the lecture, a visit to the Observatory followed, including a demonstration of the telescope operation by Dr Kosmas Gazeas, as well as stargazing for the public.
