During the GESDA (Geneva Science and Diplomacy Anticipator) Summit the President of the H.S.C. Prof. Ioannis Daglis had a meeting with the Minister of State for Public Education and Future Technology and Chair of the Space Agency of the United Arab Emirates Ms. Sarah bint Yousef Al Amiri.
The Hellenic Space Center participates in the event organized by the Section of Astrophysics, Astronomy and Mechanics of the UOA Department of Physics in the scope of World Space Week, on Saturday, October 8th, 2022. Personnel of the H.S.C. will demonstrate how a space mission for searching signs of life on Mars can be developed, including a presentation, the construction of a rocket, a spacecraft, and a robotic rover, using a LEGO kit, as well as an astrobiology experiment. Reservations are required for participation, which can be made through a google form. The Regional Center for Educational Planning of Peloponnese in collaboration with the Hellenic Space Center is organising a presentation called “Space Technology in the service of earthly everyday life”, by the C.E.O. of the H.S.C., Dr Nick Sergis. The presentation will be given virtually on Monday, April 11th at 17:30, and will be broadcasted live through the H.S.C. Youtube channel.
