On Wednesday, November 3rd, 2021, the Ambassador of Argentina in Greece, Mrs. Maria Lucia Dougherty de Sanchez, visited the premises of the Hellenic Space Center. The Ambassador had the opportunity to meet with the President of the H.S.C., Prof. Ioannis Daglis, and the C.E.O., Dr. Nick Sergis, and to discuss potential collaboration between the H.S.C. and Argentinian governmental entities responsible for Space Research and Technology (e.g. CONAE, CONICET), in the framework of the existing agreement between the two countries on scientific and technological cooperation.

On Tuesday, November 2nd, 2021, Mr. A. Paliouras, Headmaster of the 3rd Lab Center of East Attika – Rafina, visited the premises of the H.S.C., in order to present the educational programme “Earth from Space”, which has been developed by the Rafina Space Student Group and is comprised by a series of educational activities about space. This programme is targeted to young students, informing them about space professions, space science and engineering. During the visit, the potential synergies of H.S.C. and the Student Group were discussed, aiming at the support of further activities of the Student Group.
